well Johnny C was a busy bee
he worked 12 a day for almost free
only one man in a ten man family
who could hold down a job for more than a day
never could get enough to pay
so his little brother Timmy played the lottery

he pick 5 for his mother
57 for the Chevey
12 for his daddy and 11 for the baby
he picked 69 for Amy Lou across the road
and the numbers rang true for little Timmy
hands held out crying "Gimme Gimme!"
when it was time for Johnny C there was an empty hand

like a hand on a gun, with no bullets to lean on
like a man on a nun, he got shafted for gettin' some

well little Annie-Marie was a'workin' on a baby
when her man Billy R wasn't baking in the oven
so she went into a bar in the middle of a Sunday afternoon
she left at 11 in the middle of the night
after whiskey and the ale finished working on her sight
then, at 1 in the morning, there was a baby baked

well 9 months later Annie-Marie was a mother
and Bobby R was a proud Texan farmer
but something 'bout the baby didn't settle within.
well Bobby R was a good ol' boy
with a pickup in the car-hole and an 80 IQ
couldn't understand why the baby was Japanese

well preacher Terry Joseph had a vocalizing power
turn you heathen into healed by the bottom of the hour

'till one day he was honking on the organ

ten minutes later, they were rolling in the aisles
when sister Abitha burst in and gasped at the sight
